Meet Doctor Swatman

Dr. Matt Swatman received his dental degree in 1989 from the University of California in San Francisco. He completed his general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Martinez, and worked as a general dentist for several years in Modesto before returning to the University of Pacific to attain a master’s degree and specialty training in orthodontics.

Dr. Swatman is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Stanislaus Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.

In his spare time, Dr. Swatman enjoys water-skiing, snowboarding, golf, backpacking, and most outdoor activities. His most recent adventure has been renovating property. Every now and then, you may be able to catch a glimpse of him driving his tractor or re-landscaping a yard somewhere!

Dr. Swatman receives much enjoyment from getting to know each and every one of his patients on a personal level. No two patients are alike and he goes the extra mile to make sure that each treatment plan he is recommending is custom tailored to suit just you! Dr. Swatman always strives to provide you with the most comprehensive and advanced orthodontic care available.
